Official Clarisonic Mia 2 Review

So awhile back I told you guys how I bought the Clarisonic Mia 2, but I didn’t actually review it. I wanted to give it some time and real use before letting you know what I think.

You know what I hate? When people review something after 1 try, I just don’t feel like after 1 time you really can make a decision if you like something or not. Or how effective something is. Also, for the people who get shit free in exchange for their review- isn’t everything that’s free better? Aren’t you going to be more likely to give a positive review than a negative review? When I spend my money and something sucks, I’m pissed and wanna tell EVERYONE. When it’s free you can say f it and throw it away.

Anyways as for the review, it’s been about 2 weeks of me using it now. So far I consistently use it before bed while I take my nightly shower. The normal brush head that came with it is very soft, for whatever reason I thought it was going to be more abrasive. Also, it’s doesn’t actually feel like something is spinning, it just feels like a vibration. The Mia 2 comes with a timer, so it automatically pauses when it’s time for you to move to the next section-with the forehead and chin getting the most time. By far my favorite feature. It makes washing your face effortless.

Since using it my face absolutely feels more lush. I’ve also noticed a lot less pimples underneath my chin. Someone actually complimented me on my face today and told me it looks like I got a facial.

I will definitely continue to use this product and I do think it’s worth the money- seriously, it’s your face. It’s the first thing people see.

Great investment, anyone else have one?

  1. I had mine for 2 year. Happy for a long time. Felt really clean. Love has slowly turn into hate. Mould and calcium build up is impossible to clean. Plus, the battery is dying a slow death. The brush is also too clumsy to use on my flat Asian nose. I am seriously considering getting the clinique one.

      1. I change heads every 2 months, because I can smell the brush otherwise. The build up is in the groves (the inside, after you remove the head). I even ‘sun tan’ air dry my brush daily; remove the head to air dry the body and head. These days, I cotton bud clean it with alcohol. Still not helping. The clinique one has no such difficult to clean grooves. It is smaller and lighter. The sensation to my face is not that different to the clarisonic except the head is smaller. The handle is a bit annoying, as the ‘vibration’ can be strongly felt by the hand during use. I am mainly annoyed by the build up with my mia2 though.
